Your club needs you!

It's great to see members promoting the club and waving the Laverda flag.   Bob & Aileen Scott organise our presence at the Scottish Motorcycle Show every year, successfully persuading a few of our nothern members to put their bikes on display.  Please go along and say hello at the Highland Centre in Edinburgh on 9-10 March. 

Nick Brewer is organising our club presence at the Horsham Piazza Italia on Good Friday, 29 March, and would welcome a few locals to assist.  Please get in touch if you can help - details are on the Events page, there's also a thread about the event and how to book for the ride-in here. 

After attending the HB rally organised this year by Dave Pinchard, Bob Dixon has caught the rally bug and is organising one in Shropshire on May 17th & 18th.  It goes under the name of Offa's Dyke and the Marches Rally  - again details are on the forum

A new volunteer in the form of Allan Rollo has expressed a willingness to organise our Stafford show attendance in October. 

The sterling efforts of other volunteers should not go unmentioned - Simon Harrison successfully organises our attendance at the BMF shows/rallies, every year, also the Squires Rally. 

There's always a danger in singling out individuals by name, so apologies if you have been overlooked.  The committee is very appreciative of folk putting themselves forward to help with all the events the club is involved with.  Please do everything you can to support them!

International Rally 6-8 September 2013

Come and enjoy the company of Laverda friends in an historic hall set in beautiful Welsh border scenery!

We are planning a truly international rally this September with a banquet style three course waiter service meal on the Saturday evening which is included in your ticket price.  A guest speaker is also being arranged to entertain you!

There will also be our own exclusive bar with real ale, an indoor swimming pool, ride outs and awards.

Rooms can be booked directly with hotel.  There are 27 en-suite rooms ranging from executive style splendour through standard to budget.  All have tea & coffee making facilities; colour TV and direct dial telephone.

Camping is free to ticket holders and will be situated adjacent to the hall.  There is a shower and toilet block with access to other facilities inside the hotel. 

Tickets The cost of the International Rally ticket for ILOC and all other Laverda club members is £27 which includes a 3 course banquet style meal. For friends of Laverda club members the ticket price is £32.

200 Miglia di Imola Revival

The countdown has begun!

Following the enormous success of the three previous editions, the 200 Miglia di Imola Revival team has the honour of announcing the official date of the 2013 edition. From the 19^th till the 21^st of April, this unique classic motorcycle event will set up its tents on the Imola Enzo and Dino Ferrari track. We can talk about a genuine friendship between Imola and DG Sport.

Christian Jupsin, organiser of the event, is very pleased to announce that his team will be back in 2013: « During the first three editions, we worked hard to establish some synergies between the municipality of Imola, the track and all those contributing to the revival of this historical race, which is unique in the world of motorcycles. I strongly believe in the potential of this event and for the fourth year in a row, Imola represents an important date on the DG Sport calendar. I insist on thanking the authorities and the track management: last September we shook hands and agreed upon meeting each other soon, and merely a few months later, the passion for the 200 Miglia becomes once again a reality. The change of date, from October to April, allows us to approach the original date of the 200 Miglia.

All the details still remain secret but we can already tell that the endurance race that was introduced in 2012 will take place again in 2013. « The endurance race is the highlight for the participating teams, the spectators and the fans. I insisted on bringing the adrenaline of this race back to Imola and I have to admit that this experience has been very convincing. In 2013 even more teams will participate, the enthusiasm is catching », Christian Jupsin concludes.

Rendezvous from the 19^th till the 21^st of April 2013 on the Enzo and Dino Ferrari track in Imola. The countdown has officially begun!

Breganze Rally 13-14 July

MOTOCLUB LAVERDA BREGANZE Sat/Sun 13 - 14 July 2013 SAVE THE DATE!!

2^ND EXCELLENCE MOTORBIKE RALLY TOUR - BREGANZE
IN COOPERATION WITH THE ITALIAN MOTORBIKE ASSOCIATION - FMI.

TIMETABLE :

SATURDAY JULY 13^TH

• • Meeting at Oratorio Centro Giovanile Don Giovanni Bosco at 9.30am for the Rally Attendees’ enrolment and delivery of Federal Official Pass.
• • A smorgasbord will be held from 11.30 till 13.00 for all attendees and at the same time all bikes will be parked for exhibition;
• • Departure around 14.00 for a motorbike tour, which destination will be informed afterwards and guided visit along the tour.
• • Return to Breganze around 18.45, some relax and shower before dinner
• • There will be an exhibition of Italian champions of trial bicycle and motorbikes while waiting for the dinner.
• • Dinner at 20.45 open to everyone at Centro Giovanile Don Bosco
• • Music and dancing show will be on for the evening.

SUNDAY JULY 14^TH

• Briefing at Oratorio Don Bosco at 9.30am.

• Departure for the 2nd LAVERDANDO, an easy guided walkabout tour throughout the beautiful landscape of Breganze Hills and plain, visiting farms, museum and workshops.
   During the walkabout we will be guest of a prestigious local company for lunch.

END OF THE RALLY

FEES :  REGISTRATION FOR FMI MEMBERS : 30€; NON-FMI MEMBERS 35€.
Fare includes : bike tour, gadget, guided visits along the tour, Saturday night dinner.
